Kathy Pelton with Jack and Jill

Give to the Kathy Pelton Greyhound Adoption and Education Fund

In honor of longtime greyhound advocate Kathy Pelton, we have created a special fund to promote greyhound adoption and humane education. Kathy gave presentations in schools, hosted outreach tables, volunteered at greyhound adoption centers, marched in parades, wrote letters to the editor, and rescued five greyhounds, including Jack and Jill pictured here.

Kathy also served as the Florida Director for GREY2K USA Worldwide and worked to pass the Greyhound Protection Act of Seminole County, which led to the statewide prohibition of dog racing in 2018 (effective January 2021). Her legacy truly lives on as the work to end dog racing continues across the globe.

All contributions to the Kathy Pelton Greyhound Adoption and Education Fund are tax-deductible and will be donated at the end of each year to one of the groups on our referral list.

If you'd like to pay by check or mail-in your donation, please print and complete our mail-in contribution form and send it to us at:

100% of donations support our mission to end dog racing, pass greyhound protection laws and promote greyhound adoption. We are grateful for personal and corporate contributions. Because GREY2K USA lobbies for greyhound legislation, contributions are not tax deductible.
