Hope the greyhound

Making a planned gift to save greyhounds has never been easier! There is no cost to you and you can change your instructions at any time.

RECOMMENDED METHOD

  • make a will for free in just 20 minutes

  • record lifesaving instructions for the care of your companion animals

  • remember the greyhounds in your estate plans

Prefer a more traditional approach? Please follow the instructions below.

A bequest or other planned gift is an excellent way to help the GREY2K USA Education Fund carry on its work today and in the future. If you have questions about planned giving, please email us at info@grey2kusaedu.org or call our office at 781-488-3526.

Ways to give:

Leave a bequest

Providing for the GREY2K USA Education Fund in your will is a “greyt” way to support greyhound advocacy. Here is our identification information:

GREY2K USA Education Fund
P.O. Box 122

Arlington, MA 02476

EIN. No. 04-3553133

Because the laws governing wills and bequests may vary from state to state, we strongly recommend that you consult with independent legal counsel. Simply ask your attorney to include a bequest to the GREY2K USA Education Fund in your current will or trust. You may also instruct counsel to add a codicil (addendum) that inserts new provisions into an existing testamentary document.

Add a beneficiary to your retirement plan

By naming the GREY2K USA Education Fund a beneficiary of your IRA, 401k, 403b, pension, or other retirement plan(s), you can make a significant charitable gift while leaving other assets to your heirs. Many plans simply require you to fill out a form listing the GREY2K USA Education Fund as a beneficiary. Please check with your plan administrator or financial advisor for the best way to add or change beneficiaries of each plan.

Make an outright gift

Direct cash gifts are the most common form of giving and may be unrestricted or restricted — specified to benefit greyhounds in a specific state or to support a particular program.

Every dollar donated helps us sponsor greyhounds as they leave closing dog tracks, funds our outreach and adoption efforts, and helps us educate the public about the cruelty of dog racing. Thank you for caring about the greyhounds!
